“Shattered”

For this piece I used a gritty type of oil paint, it’s finish is matte but with a subtle sheen. It reminds me of light striking through broken glass or light shining though tree branches. I was feeling pretty broken myself when I painted it – the outside reflects the inside would be true in this case.

24 x 30 x 1.5, the painting is continued on the sides. Signed and dated on back.
